Chumbak.com was founded in 2010 as an idea for creating a range of fun souvenirs for India and Indians. It was a simple thought. Let’s give the world something cool to take back from their travels to India. We also loved design and that was always above everything. Period. Though little did we know what was to follow. What started with souvenirs stocked in multi brand outlets soon transformed itself into a business spanning stores across the country in both our large format, full experience stores and pop up stores across popular malls and high streets.
Who they are today
Today, they are a Design Led Lifestyle Brand for products across Apparel, Home and Accessories. They retail over 100 categories across 17 stores pan India. Chumbak also retails through their web store, which has evolved into a highly interactive and fast growing online business with a heavy focus on building a powerful brand through engaging content and memorable buying experiences.
Philosophy
A huge part of who they are today is also driven by our philosophy to MakeHappy. It all began when they were wondering what brings our customers back to our stores. The over whelming reply was that customers were mostly left with a smile on their face after walking out of our store or seeing the ‘quite mad’ pictures and posts they put up on our social media platforms.
